According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), the weather will remain unstable, at least until Wednesday, the 19th.
For tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18, meteorologists predict the arrival of a cold front in the early afternoon, which will result in light or moderate rain across the mainland, on the islands of the Central Group of the Azores and in Porto Santo.
By Wednesday, February 19, the rain should extend to all the islands of the Azores, but will stop falling in Porto Santo and the mainland, with the exception of Portalegre, Sines and Faro. The yellow alert for rough seas remains in effect.
Temperatures will fluctuate a little between today and Wednesday. According to the IPMA, maximum temperatures will be between 20ºC (in Madeira they should even reach 21ºC) and 11ºC and minimum temperatures between 1ºC and 12ºC, with the coolest district being Bragança, on Tuesday, with a maximum of 12ºC and a minimum of 1ºC, and the hottest being Setúbal, on Wednesday, with a maximum of 20ºC and a minimum of 9ºC.
