Seven districts on mainland Portugal will be under an orange warning on Friday due to the forecast of strong sea agitation, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

The districts of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga will be under the orange warning on Friday from 12 pm.
The institute predicts "waves from the west/northwest measuring five to six metres, potentially reaching ten metres in maximum height", reads a statement from IPMA.
