CoolJazz takes place throughout the month of July, at Hipódromo Manuel Possolo and Parque Marechal Carmona, and has four shows per night. The full lineup was announced by promoter Live Experiences at a press conference in Cascais.
Each of the seven nights of the festival begins with the Cascais Jazz Sessions, continues with a first part and the main attraction and ends with the Late Nights.
The festival's main stage will host Benjamin Clementine and Rita Vian on July 4th, Seal and Margarida Campelo on July 12th, Ezra Collective and Jordan Rakei on July 15th, Gilsons and Jota.Pê on July 17th, Slow J and Silly on July 23rd, Tindersticks and Ganso on July 26th, and Masego and Amaura on July 31st.
On the Cascais Jazz Sessions stage, seven Portuguese jazz projects will perform: Plasticine (July 4th), Beatriz Nunes (July 12th), BERLIM (July 15th), Isabel Rato Quinteto (July 17th), BOKOR (July 23rd), Quarteto de Areia (July 26th) and Razy (July 31st).
Late Nights will be hosted by Mafalda Nunes (July 4th), Groove Armanda (July 12th), Luís Oliveira (July 15th), Rita Lig (July 17th), Allexia (July 23rd), Rui Maia (July 26th) and Peter Castro (July 31st).
The festival also has a free program, Cascais Lazy Sundays, which takes place on Sundays and this year changes location, exchanging the gardens of Casa das Histórias Paula Rego for Jardim da Parada, located in front of the entrance to the festival grounds and which has “a greater capacity to accommodate the public”.
‘Playing music’ at Cascais Lazy Sundays will be Ana Moreira (on July 6th), Catarina Moreira & Amigos (July 13th), Leonor Caldeira & Manuel Cardoso (July 20th) and Diogo Beja (July 27th).
Tickets for CoolJazz 2025, which are daily, are now on sale. Prices vary, depending on the day, ranging from 25 to 70 euros.
A really poor line up...used to be such a good festival with top acts.
